Celebrate Mother’s Day With a Visit to the Puyallup Farmers Market

Go Local! Visit The Puyallup Farmers Market

Mother’s Day is just around the corner.
Why not celebrate the day with your mom at the downtown Puyallup Farmers Market.

You and your mom will enjoy a wide variety of  things-to-do and see while at the market. Be sure to arrive early, because parking in the area fills up fast.  And bring a nice little shopping bag to put your goodies in!

Chase Away Those Winter Blues

For those of us who live in Puyallup, the market is our way of celebrating spring. We come in droves to buy fresh local flowers to help remove the dull drums of a long, gray winter.

We fill our senses with the aromas of Kettle corn, hot dogs and fresh bread. Listen to live music while soaking in the atomosphere of the market.

The market isn’t just for adults. Last year, kids enjoyed bouncy houses, face painting, cookies, shaved ice and donuts.

I wonder what surprises we’ll see this year as the market commemorates their 30th anniversary?

Plenty to Do and Eat

On nearby streets, you’ll find many more vendors serving food like pretzels, hamburgers, hot dogs, baked goods, and BBQ items

…Did I mention there’s a lot of food? 🙂

Located on the grounds next to the Puyallup Public Library, vendors from all walks of life set up shop and sell unique crafts and gifts. Local farms showcase their fresh fruit and veggies.

Oh the Shopping!

Local artisans will be there displaying handmade crafts, artwork, clothing and jewelry and so much more.

And don’t forget your pooch. There’s a doggie day care area for your best friend to hang out while you shop.
